On the 8th March 2024 it will be international women's day. A day we celebrate how far we have come and what we have achieved, in a world that does not always value equality. Although we have come so far with gender equality, we still face discrimination and stereotypes in day to day life.
We are a womens clothing brand and one of our missions is to make all women feel good and confident in themselves, when wearing our clothes. We want to be inclusive of everyone and support all women.
As a woman who has faced gender discrimination and stereotyping, whilst starting my business, I want to make my impact in making changes towards gender equality. No matter how small of a difference it may make. I feel that women helping and supporting each other is a big step towards this. This is why Natural Fashion wants to make women feel good, confident and empowered.
When we design our clothes, we have different body types and shapes in mind. We design our trousers longer than what you usually would find in other clothing brands. This way taller women can buy trousers that actually fit. This is a struggle I personally face, and know many people that also do. If someone is smaller, they can be taken up very easily, so they are suitable for all heights.
We currently do sizes from XS-XXXL and are still looking to expand our sizing range in the future. We want to ensure we offer options for everyone and are always making changes to do so. Along with this we have our sizing charts on our website, so even though we are based online you can measure yourself and order comfortably knowing it will fit.
We also offer different fits in our clothing range, from oversized to bodycon. Everyone feels comfortable in a different fit of clothing, which is why we offer a range at Natural Fashion. Something else that will be continuously expanding. This goes for length as well. Some women prefer long sleeved shirts over short sleeved shirts. Some prefer mini dresses over maxi. So we ensure we have variety so we have something for everyone.
The colors we pick are mainly neutral or pastel tones not only for the timeless, trans-seasonal look, but also because these are colors that most women have in their wardrobe and like. By picking bright colors and patterns you are targeting people who specifically like that style. Nudes, whites etc, are basic colours everyone likes, which can make our clothes more welcoming to all women.
We are always looking for ways we can improve our designs or change what we do to fit our values better. We ultimately want to give women a one stop sustainable shop that is targeted at all women out there. We want to help you feel as good in yourself as possible and feel comfortable at the same time.
